UNRAVELLING THE UNCOMMON: LEYDIG CELL TUMOR OF THE OVARY INTRODUCTION:Sex cord stromal tumors constitute only 7% of the ovarian tumors. They present in various age group & have varied presentations .Leydig cell tumor of the ovary accounts for only 0.5% of all ovarian tumors AIMS & OBJECTIVES:In this e poster we aim discuss a case report of Leydig cell tumor of ovary presenting in a perimenopausal women Materials & Methods : presented with features of hyper androgenism. On evaluation of the same , her S testosterone ) levels were found to be normal & MRI was s/o a tiny nodular mass was noted in right ovary.B/L adrenals were normal Results:She was treated surgically with TAH+ BSO with Right Pelvic node dissection + omental biopsy+ peritoneal biopsy. On HPE it was found to be Sex cord Stromal tumor with likely possibility of Leydig cell tumor. IHC panel further confirmed it to be a Leydig cell tumor Conclusion: Proper & timely evaluation of hyperandrogenism can help detect rare causes like leydig cell tumor.
