Abstract :
INTRODUCTION - Granulosa cell tumours(GCTs) are rare ovarian neoplasam that arise from the sex cord stromal cells. AIMS & OBJECTIVES : TO assess outcomes of minimally invasive surgical techniques and investigate the role adjuvant therapies( chemotherapy, radiotherapy)in advanced or recurrent cases. MATERIALS OR METHODS : 50 year old , P2L2A1 with 2 prev NVDs ,c/o pain abdomen since morning, associated with nausea and 2 episodes of loose stools.O/E per abdomen soft ,tenderness present in right iliac fossa and left iliac fossa. on usg 89*70mm with left ruptured hemorrahagic cyst with hemoperitoneum suggestive of mass lesion under evaluation. Left laparoscopic cystectomy with left salpingoophorectomy done. RESULTS : Exicsed mass was sent for HPE, it shows adult GCT of ovary. DISCUSSION : As a subset of sex cord stromal tumors , GCTs have distinct biological and clinical features , posing challenges in diagnosis ,management. CONCLUSION : Surgical excision remains the cornerstone of treatment.
