Mrs. X referred to NSCBMCH with diagnosis of primi 40 week with central placenta pr?via. On admission in our institute her per abdominal examination was tense and tender abdomen with fetal part felt superficially and Fetal heard sound head on auscultation She was taken for laparotomy and live fetus extracted from peritoneal cavity . A hemiuterus was found intact and there was no placental sepration and placenta was found to be adhered to the rudimentary horn of uterus . Rudimentary horn was excised along with adhered placenta Since placenta was deeply adhered to myometrium and serosa of rudimentary horn with extension to bladder ,there was no separation of placenta even after rupture of rudimentary horn there was continuous blood flow to growing fetus and and ensured its survival till term and beyond rupture
