Patient was taken up of emergency LSCS on request of relatives. Results: Preoperative diagnosis:G3A2 with POG(d/s):31.2/31.3wk with grade 3 IUGR with severe oligohydramnios with doppler changes with breech presentation. Postoperative diagnosis:P1D1A2 /EMG LSCS under SA/male/900gms/Ivo grade 3 IUGR with severe oligohydramnios with doppler changes with breech presentation. Conclusion: With advent of advanced USG procedures Velamentous insertion of cord can be diagnosed in early antenatal period and symptomatic treatment should be given to prevent fetal growth restriction and oligohydramnios and prolong the pregnancy.
