Abstract :
Introduction: Dinoprostone gel is a safe and efficient method of induction of labour.
Aims and objectives: The aim of my study was to compare the methods of dinoprostone 0.5mg gel induction in fullterm pregnant females.
Material and methods: I did a cohort study comparing two groups of a)30 full term pregnant females with Bishop score of equal to or less than 5 induced with two dinoprostone gels at 6 hours interval and b) 30 same females induced with gel after 24 hours interval.
Conclusion: Slower method of dinoprostone gel induction leads to better priming of cervix and better induction of labour.
