Abstract :
Introduction- Breech is the commonest malpresentation accounting for 3-5% of deliveries with adverse fetal outcome in labor and delivery.
Aims- To determine incidence and outcome in a tertiary care hospital
Methodology- All admitted singleton live term pregnancy with breech presentation at the time of delivery was assessed for outcome. study duration was 1 year.
Result- Total 153 deliveries were studied. 40.65 was delivered by caesarean section. NICU admission was 37.9%.Perinatal death was 9.
Conclusion - Mode of delivery for breech remain a controversy among Obstetrician. timely intervention can decrease neonatal morbidity and mortality.
